1. Data storage

When registering (online, in writing or by telephone) for one of the events we offer (public seminars, in-house training, conferences, information evenings, events, etc.), we collect data that is used solely for the purpose of further communication about these events. When handling your data, Management Weiterbildung BWI AG complies with applicable legislation and, wherever possible, with the recommendations of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Commissioner. Only those data are collected that are absolutely necessary for the processing of the registration as well as for further communication. In particular, we collect the information that you have provided during registration. In addition, we use your information to contact you after registration by e-mail or telephone for further questions. In addition, your details will also appear on lists of participants, which will, however, only be made accessible to the direct circle of participants at this event. You can request your details at any time and change them if necessary.

2. Cookies

We use cookies to optimize our website and to determine page views. These are a small file that is transmitted from our web server to your Internet browser and stored there. This makes it possible that information you already provided does not have to be re-entered to enable transactions or to create a list of favorites. No security-relevant data is stored in the process. Cookies can be deactivated on your digital end device at any time.

3. Encryption

The transmission of data is partly unencrypted. For sensitive data and personal information, we apply encryption with SSL certificates. In addition, our system is protected by various firewalls against unauthorized access from the outside.

4. Newsletter and address

If you have provided us with your data, in particular address data, by means of a contact or registration form on our website, and you have explicitly given us permission to contact you, it is possible that we will inform you about events and offers in various ways, in particular also electronically. If you are no longer interested in receiving this information and would like to be removed from our mailing list, please send us an e-mail to info@bwi.ch with your details and the subject "please delete my address".

5. Disclosure of data to third parties

In all our business processes, the disclosure of personal data is kept to an absolute minimum; e.g. for the reservation of a hotel room as part of participation in an event.
