Coaching in the workplace
Procedure
With an organisational diagnosis or as a result of the BWI-Case Clinic, evidence is presented which makes it necessary to optimise the effectiveness of company managers so that they can achieve the strategic goals or be able to react even better in the market.
Ideally, a catalogue of measures is drawn up with a representative group of superiors to determine which management skills are critical for the future to achieve the strategic goals. In a second step, a comparison is made of existing competencies against those competencies the managers still need to develop.
To achieve the highest possible transfer to the individual managers, the contents are worked on together with BWI experts using individual coaching sessions directly at the workplace for a few weeks or months.

Adherence to delivery dates
In an organisation, set deadlines are missed repeatedly. Where is the focus currently? Which indicators can help monitor progress in specific work? What are the current priorities for employees?
Risk Management
As a manager, I recognise which planned activities entail risks and can react accordingly: Identifying, quantifying, analysing risks and taking action to minimise risks rate high among the core competencies of a manager.
Effectiveness in the workplace
Employees complain about the high workload. The number of absences due to illness is increasing, the atmosphere in the team is becoming tense and mutual helpfulness is declining; each person is looking to fulfil his or her own obligations. The analysis shows that by improving the communication culture alone, a lot of time could be saved. Too much time is wasted writing and reading e-mails. Meetings are not focused on achieving goals and are not clearly moderated.
Our offer
The BWI experts develop the contents of the coaching sessions together with the client and representatives of the individuals getting coached. In the subsequent individual coaching sessions, they support, practice and reflect on effective interventions for the management discussions with the employees. The focus is on the manager's efforts to support his employees and to encourage them to reflect and take responsibility for themselves.
If necessary, personality diagnosis instruments are also included: VIA character strengths, Belbin Team Role Model ®, MotivStrutkurAnalyse (MSA), Golden Profiler of Personality (GPOP) or NEO Five-Factor Inventory according to Costa and McCrae (NEO-FFI)
